So much of the language of schooling and education consists of jargon and terms that are inaccessible to parents and the general public. This (# of pages) booklet developed by the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center contains more than (# ) of commonly used terms in education and defines them in easy to understand language for parents.

Additional Special Education terms have been added as well as a math glossary at the end of the booklet that contains # of commonly used terms in mathematics.
