| Dr.
Nancy Kraft directed the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center from
2002 to 2007 and is now a Senior Project Consultant with the KPIRC.
In the five years that Nancy directed the KPIRC, she conducted numerous
workshops and developed many family-friendly resources for schools,
parents, and other professional organizations that interface with families.
While she now resides in her home state of Wisconsin, Nancy will continue
to be involved as a member of the Kansas Families and Schools Together,
Inc. (KFAST) Board of Directors that oversees the KPIRC, and will be
involved in various KPIRC projects.
Nancy has 29 years of experience
as an educator having taught at the university level at Kansas University
in teacher education as well as at the community college and high
school levels in Wisconsin. With a Ph.D. in education policy, she
has worked with federal education legislation for much of her career,
assisting schools, school districts and state departments of education
in understanding and operationalizing federal education policy.
