PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a type of formatting that enables files to be viewed on a variety computers regardless of the program originally used to create them. PDF files retain the "look and feel" of the original document with special formatting, graphics, and color intact. You use a special program or print driver (Adobe Distiller or PDF Writer) to convert a file into PDF format. To save PDF files to your computer, right-click the link, then choose "Save Target As." Or, just double-click and it will open in your browser window. Adobe Acrobat Reader is offered free by Adobe Systems. Reader allows users to view and print highly complex documents that retain their original formatting by using the PDF format. You can download the FREE Acrobat Reader from Adobe's site or click the icon below. Look for "Download PDF" to download and view PDF documents on our site. Most will have the document size listed next to it. The larger the number, the longer it may take to download to your computer. |
