| In June of 2007, KPIRC
had the opportunity to host a training event that offered a model of support for those individuals who train and provide technical assistance for Home Visitors. Kansas Head Start, Early Head Start, Even Start, Parents as Teachers, Kansas Association of Resource & Referral Agencies and other organizations were represented at this 2 day event. KPIRC sponsored this event, titled "Supporting Care Providers," with the goal that children and families would reap the benefits through better information, better training and more individualized opportunities for their care provider. |
