Our
Early Childhood Strategies are to:
- Increase
communities’ capacity to support the Parents As Teachers
(PAT) model and curriculum.
- Pilot
3-5 Parents As Teachers model and curriculum in targeted
counties.
- Help
Parents As Teachers programs implement the National Quality
Standards Self-Assessment process.
- Develop
an evaluation plan to monitor the achievement of PAT children
to school entry.
- Help
Parents As Teachers programs develop plans to incorporate
the National Quality Standards in their program.
- Determine
staff development needs of targeted preschool programs and
provide staff development and technical assistance to address
those needs.
