	The purpose of this guide from Public Education Network is to make the process of school finance litigation more accessible, and to suggest roles that local education funds (LEFs), community based organizations, and concerned individuals can play -- both in supporting litigation that seeks more funding for lower wealth districts, and in furthering our collective efforts to ensure a quality public education for all children. A new "Action Guide" provides principles, suggestions and ideas for mayoral leadership and involvement. It also explains the political, financial and bureaucratic problems with which mayors are confronted when they become involved in public education.
