ABC Book of Education Terms:
A Plain Language Guide for Parents
So much of the language of schooling and education
consists of jargon and terms that are inaccessible to parents and
the general public. This 36-page booklet developed by the Kansas Parent
Information Resource Center contains more than 130 commonly used terms
in education and defines them in easy to understand language for parents.
Additional
Special Education terms have been added as well as a math glossary
at the end of the booklet that contains # of commonly used terms
in mathematics.
