Desarrollo Cognoscitivo Pensando para Aprender. Un Folleto para las Familias de Kansas¡Hola! El temprano desarrollo de un niño sirve como base para el aprendizaje posterior. El propósito de este folleto es presentarle a las familias algunas habilidades, llamadas etapas de desarrollo, que los niños desarrollan y el orden en el cual suceden. Un muestreo de ideas se ofrece en las siguientes páginas para ayudar a que se desarrollen dichas habilidades. Cada niño se desarrolla de diferente manera, aún dentro de la misma familia. Dos niños, comparando el uno con el otro, no necesariamente tendrán las mismas habilidades al mismo tiempo. Este folleto ha sido creado para proveer información acerca del pensamiento, razonamiento y habilidades de aprendizaje, o desarrollo cognoscitivo, en niños pequeños y tiene como fin ser utilizado por las familias de Kansas. Este folleto provee un entendimiento común con respecto a cómo se debe dar el desarrollo cognoscitivo de los niños en su temprana infancia.
