Parent Teacher Education Connection: Online Parent Modules!
The goal of PTE Connection is to help teachers and early childhood professionals work more effectively with parents and families across cultures to improve student achievement. Our curriculum has been revised to align with the PTA National Family School Partnership Standards, which were endorsed by the Kansas State Board of Education. Each standard has been developed into an online module that can be used for professional development. PAT Update: Kansas PTA and Parents as Teachers
The Kansas Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the Kansas Parents as Teachers Association (KPATA) are beginning a joint venture to promote their mutual interest in families with children prenatal to 5 years of age. PTA offers a foundation for affirming young children as they grow and develop. PTA provides support, resources, programs and activities to assist families of young children.
